1. I wrapped the seat in tin foil, then again in wax paper (making sure all parts were covered).

2. Then put pieces of fiberglass mat on top and applied the fiberglass resin. Once that hardened, I added 2 more coats.

3. Since I only wanted to cover the back half of the 2-person seat, I then drew a line where I wanted it to stop, and cut the excess off.

4. More fiberglass resin around the edges, a lot of sanding, and some bondo.

5. Then sprayed it with auto-zone primer and yellow paint.

The color did not match perfectly, but it fit very nicely and I had quite a few offers from other Ninja 250 owners interested in one.
